Ingredients

green asparagus

onion

garlic

Cashews
or almonds

salt, pepper, cayenne pepper
Instructions
Soak the cashew nuts in water (preferably 30-60 minutes).
Wash the asparagus and cut off the lower ends.
Peel the garlic and onion and cut into small pieces.
Put the asparagus, garlic and onion in a pot and fill it with 2 cups of water, put a lid on it and bring to a boil.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the asparagus are soft.
Add the oil, nuts and spices and puree in a blender or with a hand blender directly in the pot.
Add water as required.
