Put the cream sugar, eggs, butter and salt in a bowl.
Warm the milk, making sure it doesn’t get too hot! Put the yeast into the bowl and add the milk while stirring continuously.
Add the flour and stir well. Add more until the dough is no longer sticky.
Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface and knead by hand for 5-10 minutes.
Place the dough in a bowl and leave it to rise covered with a cloth in a warm place for 1 hour.
Divide the dough into six equal pieces. Divide one of these into two halves and roll them out into two strands. Stick the two strands together at one end and then wrap them around each other to form a kind of braid.
Now form a wreath and join the ends together. There should be a hole in the middle, which will later hold an egg.
Leave the wreaths under a cloth for another 30 minutes.
Beat the egg and brush the wreaths with it.
Sprinkle a little coarse sugar on top and place an Easter egg in the middle of each wreath.
