Erdnuss, Kakaobohne der Erde, Erbsennuss … für Arachis hypogaea gibt es mehrere gängige Namen. Aber egal wie lange wir damit jonglieren, es wird trotzdem keine Nuss. Im botanischen Sinne ist die Erdnuss eine Hülsenfrucht wie Bohnen, Erbsen und Linsen. Warum beharren wir also so auf dem Ausdruck ‘…nuss’?
