Strawberries are delicious eaten raw. But did you know that you can also grill these sweet fruits? It adds a little variety – and surprise for your guests! Try it out!
Ingredients
For the strawberries
- 500 g Swiss strawberries
- 1-2 tbsp Aceto Balsamico
- 1 tbsp honey
For the cream
- 200 ml half cream
- 2 tbsp natural yoghurt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp bourbon vanilla powder
- fresh lemon juice optional
- fresh mint leaves optional

For the strawberries
- Heat the grill to medium heat.
- Meanwhile, wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Either place them directly on the grill or put them on wooden skewers first. Keep turning them so they don't burn! Grill for about 5 minutes until they are slightly soft.
- Put the strawberries in a bowl. Then immediately drizzle with the vinegar and honey while the fruit is still warm. Mix and set aside to cool.
For the cream
- Place the cream in a bowl and whip until it stiffens. Fold in the yoghurt, sugar, vanilla and lemon juice, if using.
- Pour the whipped cream into glasses and scatter the strawberries over the top. If you like, decorate with mint leaves. Enjoy!
