The Easter bunny distributes the eggs in the garden, while inside the fine lamb-shaped cake is already in the oven – that sounds like a fantastic Easter morning!
Ingredients
- 250 g soft butter or margarine
- 200 g sugar
- 1 sachet vanilla sugar
- some salt
- some Lemon Juice
- 5 eggs
- 375 g flour
- 2 1/2 tsp backing powder
- 5 tbsp milk

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to about 160 °C fan and grease your lamb cake tins.
- Cream the butter or margarine, then add the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and lemon until smooth.
- Gradually add the eggs, stirring them in for about 30 seconds at a time.
- Mix the flour and baking powder and add them as well. Stir in briefly with the milk.
- Pour the mixture into the lamb dishes and bake for about 40-45 minutes.
- After the baking time, let the lambs cool before removing them from the tins!
- Sprinkle with icing sugar or decorate as desired.
