Tangerine liqueur

The mandarin probably comes from northeast India or southwest China. It contains vitamin C, E and B, potassium and iron. By the way: the white skin of the pulp is edible and even very healthy!

Instructions
  1. Squeeze tangerines and lemon and put them in a pot together with sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. For a more intense taste, add the peels of 2-3 tangerines and lemon to the sut.
  2. Bring to boil at medium heat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and put everything through a sieve.
  4. Mix the pure and slightly cooled down mandarin syrup with water and vodka, stir well and pour into clean bottles.⠀
  5. Store in a cool and dark place.
