Today, the third generation of the Keuffer family, namely Frédéric, Vincent and Noémie, own and manage the family business. They cultivate with passion a wide range of seasonal vegetables.
Please introduce your company in three sentences
Keuffer Sàrl is a family-owned company based in the Lausanne region, which markets fresh vegetables such as lamb’s lettuce, various salads, broccoli, fennel, tomatoes, eggplant, cucumber, leek, etc. This company has two production sites located in Bremblens and Lonay to produce conventional and organic vegetables. It has about 70 employees in high season and cultivates vegetables on nearly 100 hectares, including 6.5 hectares of crops under greenhouses and tunnels.

We chose to work with Farmy because we share the values and vision of this company.
What changes has the crisis brought to your company?
We had to implement important measures in order to continue our activity but we were able to adapt quickly. This crisis put the spotlight on the forces of online and direct sales.
Do you see any potential or opportunities arising from the crisis?
We have seen that mentalities have changed during this crisis and many customers have moved closer to local producers, which is an opportunity.
