During the Christmas season, baking biscuits has become a nice tradition, hasn’t it? With this recipe you can make delicious cinnamon biscuits (that are vegan!). Try it now!
Ingredients
- 250 g ground almonds
- 100 g coconut sugar
- 1 tbsp organic chia seeds
- 2 tbsp cold water
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch vanilla powder

- In a small bowl, combine the chia seeds and water. Allow to thicken for about 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, place coconut sugar, ground almonds, cinnamon and vanilla powder in a food processor or large bowl and mix well.
- Add the chia mixture and maple syrup. Mix for about 30 seconds until you have a sticky dough. If the dough is crumbly add a little water.
- Preheat oven to 160° C.
- Roll out the dough between two sheets of baking paper to a thickness of about 5 mm.
- Using a star-shaped biscuit cutter, cut out the biscuits and place them on the baking sheet covered with baking paper. If the dough sticks to the cookie cutter, dip it in a little water and continue.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the biscuits cool for a few minutes on a cooling rack.
Recipe Notes
Store the cinnamon star-biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature.
