Here is a simple recipe for a light but tasty appetizer. Pear crisps are an original alternative to traditional crisps and much more interesting from a nutritional point of view! They go well with fromage frais to create a sweet and sour flavour.
Ingredients
- 3 pears approx. 120 g each
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 30 g Quark light
- 30 g cream cheese
- 1 tsp chives
- salt
- pepper

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 100°C (fan oven).
- Cut the pears lengthwise into thin strips.
- Remove the seeds with a sharp knife.
- Place the pear slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Brush the pear slices with a thin layer of maple syrup.
- Bake in the oven for 1.5 hours, turning the pear slices halfway through the cooking time.
- Mix the quark with the fromage frais, chives, salt and pepper to taste.
- Once the pear chips have cooled, place a small spoonful of the fromage frais mixture on top.
