This dish can be eaten as an appetizer or as a main course with a nice seasonal salad. It will surprise you with its mixture of flavours and you will see that the apple mixes well with salty flavours (and just as well in a salad of seasonal raw vegetables).
Ingredients
- 1 spelt puff pastry 300g
- 2 apples
- 1 courgette
- 150 g cream cheese California
- 6 sprigs chives
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 bunch Parsley small
- salt
- pepper
- maple syrup
Servings: tartlets (1/person as a snack, 2/person as a dish)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Place the puff pastry on a baking tray and cut into 8 rectangles.
- Chop the garlic clove.
- Chop the chives and parsley.
- Mix the fromage frais with the garlic, chives and parsley, add pepper and salt to taste.
- Spread a little of the fromage frais mixture with herbs on each pastry rectangle.
- Fold the 4 sides of each rectangle in by 1 cm.
- Thinly slice the courgette and the apple.
- Place the courgette slices and apple slices on each pastry rectangle.
- Place in the oven for approximately 20 minutes.
- Once the tartlets are out of the oven, drizzle maple syrup over each one.
- The tarts can be enjoyed as a main course with a seasonal salad.
